Following rigorous testing, we identified a discrepancy in the load-bearing capacity compared to the specifications provided by the supplier of the CHA50 and BST50 hinges and strap hinges. We calculated that, under specific conditions, this variance could lead to a slight sagging of the sashes.

The Technical Solution: Guaranteed Standards

To maintain our high-quality standards, we have implemented a structural upgrade: all orders featuring CHA50 and BST50 hinges and strap hinges will automatically include an additional hinge/strap. This supplementary component has been engineered to be positioned exactly at the top of the sash, ensuring optimal structural balance.

You do not need to worry about a thing; our ERP system has already integrated the solution. Starting today, December 12, 2025, our Sherpa configurator will autonomously add the correct number of hinges and strap hinges to all new orders, eliminating any potential load-bearing issues at the source.
