Our first Sustainability Report: measuring to improve<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

A company’s growth depends on its ability to measure its results objectively<\/strong>. It is with this pragmatic spirit that Punto Persiane has decided to draw up its first Sustainability Report for the year 2024<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

We have voluntarily chosen to map our environmental, social, and governance (ESG)<\/strong> impact in order to understand exactly where we are today and chart our operational course for the coming years.<\/p>\n\n

Our ESG Rating<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

To evaluate our performance impartially, we relied on the Ecomate<\/strong> platform, as part of an initiative by the European Enterprise Europe Network<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The analysis returned an ESG rating of BB<\/strong> (medium risk). We consider this score to be a true \u201csnapshot\u201d which, in a complex industrial sector such as ours, represents a solid and measurable basis<\/strong>: it clearly shows us our areas of strength and highlights the aspects we need to work on in order to build an even more efficient and responsible business model. <\/p>\n\n

Our goals for the future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

The data collected has enabled us to define our 2025\/2026 strategic sustainability plan<\/strong>, focusing on clear objectives with a significant operational impact:<\/p>\n\n

  • Circular economy and aluminum<\/strong>: we aim to purchase extruded aluminum containing at least 30% recycled material<\/strong> (scrap) by 2026, a figure that will be guaranteed by our manufacturers’ certifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Packaging management<\/strong>: we are stepping up initiatives to recover<\/strong> packaging materials directly on site. At the same time, we are collaborating with the Politecnico di Milano to develop innovative corner protectors made from mycelium<\/strong>, a 100% natural and biodegradable material. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Energy transition<\/strong>: we are evaluating the installation of a photovoltaic system for self-consumption<\/strong> and registration with the Borgosatollo Renewable Energy Community (CER)<\/strong>. These actions aim to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 30-40% compared to the values recorded in 2024. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Value to people<\/strong>: we firmly believe in our team, which is why 100% of our employees<\/strong> have permanent contracts<\/strong>. To ensure corporate well-being, we have also set up the TVB<\/strong> (Well-being Assessment Team)<\/strong>, an internal body dedicated to gathering people’s needs and translating them into practical initiatives. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n

    Sharing our goals is the best way to demonstrate the direction we have taken. We work every day to provide our customers with increasingly high-performance aluminum blinds<\/strong>, progressively reducing the environmental impact of our production chain and helping to meet the demands of an increasingly demanding market<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n
